Q: What jobs do you consider "Temporary"?

A "temporary" position is one that will eventually end. It could be for one or two days, one or two weeks, six weeks, or even several months. Typically a company will request a temporary associate for coverage for vacations, maternity leaves, sick leaves, and seasonal or peak times.

Q: What is the difference between "Temporary" & "Temp to Hire Service"?

A "temporary" position is one with an end date or will eventually end. A "Temp-to-Hire" position is one, in which the company's intention is to fill the position on a permanent basis but would like the opportunity to evaluate an employee before making an offer of employment. Occasionally a "temporary" position turns into a "Temp-to-Hire" position.

Q: How is Temp to Hire beneficial than direct hire?

Temp-to-hire offers employers a risk-free probationary period during which to evaluate a candidate's suitability for long-term employment. During the temp-to-hire period, Suvidha Sewa accepts many of the liabilities associated with employment, including responsibility for worker's compensation, and payroll and tax withholding. Employers can also try out multiple employees in a position before deciding on a long-term placement. Employers save on the costs of advertising and recruitment, payroll administration, and employee benefit costs in the initial months of work. Our client is under no obligation to make an offer of permanent employment.

Q: What kinds of responsibilities are being borne by Suvidha Sewa in staffing?

Suvidha Sewa takes responsibility for recruitment, human resources management, payroll & benefits, statutory compliance which streamlines the entire hiring, tracking and retention process of staff.

Q: What are the candidate selection criteria & requisites?

All clerical & non-clerical employees shall be screened through personal interview and clerical employees shall be screened through written and computer test as well. All employees of Suvidha Sewa must fill up employee verification form, give references of two people. All employees of Suvidha Sewa must submit original certificate of academics or citizenship during the course of employment.

Q: What is the procedure once a candidate gets selected for contractual job?

In long term staffing and temporary staffing, the candidate gets into a contractual agreement with Suvidha Sewa for the related contract service period while in Temp to Hire Staffing, the candidates gets into a contractual agreement with Suvidha Sewa for 60 days of trial period. The assigned representatives shall be stationed at the client's office throughout the office hours and carry out all related work for the client. Suvidha Sewa shall take full responsibility and accountability of the assigned representative who shall be under Suvidha Sewa's payroll.

Q: What is the salary & benefit scheme for contractual staff?

The salary & benefit for contractual staff shall be offered in accordance with Suvidha Sewa's employment guideline and applicable labor law of Nepal.

Q: What would be the working hours and holiday scheme for contractual staffs?

The working hours and holiday scheme for contractual staffs would be as per the policy of client.

Q: Who will be responsible for the loss or damage occurred at client's premises?

In the event of any losses or damages to the client due to wrongful act and/or late delivery on the part of Suvidha Sewa or any other individual or company engaged by Suvidha Sewa, it shall be the responsibility of Suvidha Sewa to compensate the client to the extent of the loss incurred by the client. The client reserves all rights to settle all such losses against the monthly bill submitted for payment.

Q: What will be the consequences if I don't like the performance of the employee or the assigned employee quits during contract period/trial period?

If you are not completely satisfied with the performance of the employee or if the assigned employee quits due to reason what so ever, we will find a replacement within 3 working days. No further charge or obligation shall be imposed to the client for any replacement.

Q: How will the performance of the employee be reviewed during contract/trial period?

Constant performance and productivity review of employee shall be done by client in coordination with Suvidha Sewa.

Q: What will be the consequences if I wish to hire staff before completion of trial period in Temp-To-Hire Service?

If the client intends to hire the staff before completion of trial period then one month equivalent salary shall be levied to the client as a placement fee. But no additional fee shall be levied if the client hires the staff after the completion of trial period.

Q: How many replacements shall be provided during contract/trial period?

In case of long term and temporary staffing replacement shall be provided on need basis of client however in case of Temp-to-Hire staffing maximum 3 replacements for single position shall be provided during trial period but no replacement shall be provided for an employee who is on an assignment for more than 45 working days in Temp-to Hire Staffing.

Q: What will be the consequences if I don't like any replaced staff in Temp-to-Hire Staffing?

The contract for temp to hire itself will be terminated if the client is not satisfied with any of 3 replacements provided by Suvidha Sewa.

Q: How will the trial period be counted in Temp-to-Hire Staffing?

The trial period of 60 days for any employee (including replaced employee) will be counted for working days only (excluding public holiday and employee's leave).

Q: Is there any obligation to permanently hire the employee after the completion of Contract/Trial Period?

No, the client is not obliged to permanently hire the employee after the completion of contract/trial period. If the client does not absorb the employee then the contract will be terminated and the client would have option to go for other staffing services.

 

  Cleaning Service

Q: What is included in your commercial cleaning services?

At Suvidha Sewa we offer a complete range of cleaning solutions to meet your specific requirements from Basic Cleaning Service to Specialized Cleaning Service which shall allow your esteemed organization to flourish in a thoroughly clean environment. Our cleaning solution includes general office cleaning, window cleaning, carpet cleaning and shampooing, marble/parquet polishing and many more.

Q: How do you provide estimates?

Initially we carry out the physical visit of client’s property whereupon we make the measurement and inspection of the serving area in order to provide the client with the appropriate package service and proper estimation of required resources. Based on the site survey we estimate the required manpower, tools, machineries and chemicals.

Q: What type of product do you use to clean?

We recommend and use German Based high quality and hygienic cleaning products and materials for providing excellent cleaning service to our clients.

Q: Why should we use German based product when we can get other cheap product in the market?

Comparatively the cost of German based product is bit expensive than Local product but its cost is worthy as the use of these products make the surface clean and disinfectant without leaving any bad odor and causing harm to the surface.

Q: Do we need to provide the cleaning materials and equipment?

No. Suvidha Sewa furnishes all necessary cleaning chemicals, tools & equipments. However the client has choice to take the cleaning service without cleaning materials, chemicals, tools & equipments also but under this option client itself will have to provide the required cleaning materials.

Q: Do we need to supervise the cleaning process?

In case of complete cleaning solution service you don't need to supervise the cleaning process wherein all the work shall be done by our trained, experienced and professional staff. The FMS Supervisor shall oversee all the operational activities but if you have taken only cleaning staff service then you should have to supervise the staff as well as process.

Q: Does your company provide the staff uniforms and shoes?

Yes, we do provide two pair of official uniforms every year to our staff if the client wishes to take the cleaning staff with dress code.

Q: What happens if something is broken or damaged while cleaning?

Any loss or damage occurred from assigned staff shall be compensated by Suvidha Sewa but we shall not be responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of any item.

Q: Do you provide a window cleaning?

Yes, we do provide internal and external window cleaning services.

Q: Is there any cost difference between external and internal window cleaning?

Yes there is a cost difference between external and internal window cleaning.

Q: Do you do domestic cleaning?

No, we don’t do domestic cleaning.
